Project Overview
To create a brand vision as a team and work individually to imagine how the publication would look like from layout design to brand identity. The result is to produce five different zones using the same audience and brand mission.
Problem Statement
The problem is to create a unique food zine that features article written by the team members, each article will feature something unique about the food culture in Sacramento and bring together a diverse range of food that people would like to try on their next day out in the Sacramento area.
Solution
Taste Budds magazine is a publication focusing on imagery that turns food into art, where rich and vibrant images are used to bring a more striking visual identity to food. Using both stock imagery and personal photographs together to sell and promote local businesses and events in the Sacramento area.
Target Audience
Locals or those living in the Sacramento area, these are young adults and either have a small family or in college. This demographic is interested in dining out more often than others as this saves time and energy that can be used for other things, these groups are also more interested in trendy local places with high-quality cuisine that is close to where they live.
